Started to take private piano lessons at the age of five in preparation to the admission exams to the Conservatorio Paisiello in Taranto Italy.

At the Conservatorio Paisiello he followed a ten years course, which at completion gave him the title of Piano Professor.

With a strong passion for Jazz and R&B, Gianpaolo has been member of several bands touring around the south of Italy for five years performing in indoor and outdoor arenas.

 

Gianpaolo has performed solo as piano bar entertainer for two years in the best and renowned clubs of the "Riviera Romagnola" near Rimini and Riccione in Italy, and in clubs and restaurants in the "Costa Amalfitana" near Napoli, Amalfi, Positano and Capri.

He performed also at the "Le Scimmie" renowned VIP bar in Milano, and at the "Crystal club" in Pavia, Milano.

Then he starts to work for Tirrenia Ferries from Genoa to Sardinia and in 2004 start in MSC Cruise as Band Leader pianist singer.

From 2005 till now works for Selection for Costa Cruise Ship as pianist singer and coordinator.

 

As entertainer Gianpaolo has worked in various venues, from organ player in church functions, to Lap Dancing night clubs, so you can appreciate that the number and type of clients does not prove to be a problem for him and his confidence while performing.

 

As a true pianist Gianpaolo can read any type of music, therefore his music repertoire can be virtually as wide as it could be, as long as he has the music on paper and knows the tune Gianpaolo is capable to play anything.
